Goal: the goal of this paper consists in presenting the development of provider profiles for organizations and services as the first step to carry out evidence-based practices. Procedure: a total of 758 professionals working in 154 organizations and 288 centres participated applying the GENCAT Scale (Verdugo, Arias, Gómez, & Schalock, 2008) to 11624 recipients of social services in Catalonia. The 42% of the sample were elderly, the 45,5% were people with intellectual disabilities; the 10,8% had mental health problems, the 9,9% were persons with physical disabilities, and the 2,2% were persons with sensory disabilities. Onlye the 1,9% were people with drug-dependences and the 0,4% were personas with HIV or AIDS. Results: provider profiles provide a clear understanding of the practices that are carried out in social and human services to enhance quality of life-related personal outcomes of recipients and improve the quality strategies.
