Doctor by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid with the thesis Diseño de informativos en televisión Estudio y análisis de categorías y variables 1996. Supervised by Dr. Donaciano Bartolomé Crespo.

Bachelor's in Philosophy and Educational Sciences (UNED), and Bachelor’s and Doctorate in Audiovisual Communication (Complutense University). Associate Professor at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (University of Oviedo, Spain), specializing in Didactics and School Organization. Former Secondary Education teacher and TVE producer in Spain. He has researched audiovisual ICT in education since 1986, with over 200 related publications. He directs orgtransparente.org, a pioneering platform for audiovisual educational resources. Coordinates various projects on ICT, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, and AI in education, with notable international collaborations (UNAM, WNMU, TUL). Expert in international mobility and Erasmus program evaluator. Leads two international research projects with European partners, organizing two international conferences on adult education: cylaei.unioviedo.es.
