Abstract

This exercise in Deconstructivist Morphology keeps track of the symbolic drift that follows from the leaks, cracked gates, *setfowards and setbacks of the (de)compositional processes of word (de)formation in the Spanish language. It is observed that the dubious reverse terminological plasticity associated and dissociated to the verb despampanar and its many echoes explains the more than justifiable interpretative incontinence (or drift of the interpretant) when facing samples of the poetic heritage that folklorism naively considers semantically monolithic.
