Abstract

Textbooks and reading books are objects commonly found in museums and school exhibitions; nevertheless, in these expositions it is frequent to find the same titles even though rare copies exist in the collections. We propose to modify the regular expository discourse by elaborating explana-tions without prioritizing the conventional chronological order used by historians and museolo-gists. We group the books in six nuclei so that those exposed in the same showcase won’t ignore each other and to make it easier for different audiences to increase their knowledge and acquire complex visions about the functions of the book in other times, the various teaching methods, the editing, etc.
