Resumo

It is reported the case of one patient with symptoms of ischemia vertebro-basilar and complementary test showing thrombosis of both internal carotid arteries, one hypoplasic vertebral artery and the other starting from ipsilateral external carotid (proatlantal artery)with an important stenoses. Endovascular treatment on the variant artery with angioplasty and coronary stent was performed reaching a satisfactory result.
