Abstract

The educational administration has used from his origins in the nineteenth century the honorific motivation to the professionals of the elementary education. This paper tries to research the mechanisms used to reward the daily work of the teachers, to identify the modalities of the stipulated rewards, to verify his permanency in the time, as well as the appearance of new recognitions of the educational work, so much of local as national character during The Contemporary Age.
