Alba González Sanz holds a PhD in Gender and Diversity from the University of Oviedo, with an international mention. She holds a degree in Hispanic Philology, a Master's degree in Gender Equality in the Humanities, Legal, and Social Sciences (CSIC/UIMP), and a Master's degree in Gender and Diversity. Her research focuses on the study of the author's insertion and the construction of female citizenship in Spain through emancipatory prose writings between the 18th and 20th centuries, as well as the analysis of contemporary feminist theorization applied to narrative and contemporary cultural production. Part of her findings resulted in the monograph Contra la destrucción teórica. Teorías feministas en la España de la Modernidad (KRK, 2018). Between 2017 and 2023, she worked as a parliamentary advisor, specializing in public gender equality policies, in both the Spanish Congress and the Ministry of Equality. She is currently a contracted researcher as Technical Support Staff (MCIU-PTA23) at the University Institute of Gender and Diversity at the University of Oviedo.
