Doctor by the Universidad de Oviedo with the thesis Characterization of NKG2Dmediated signaling pathways and its role in the regulation of cell migration 2013. Supervised by Dr. Carlos Lopez Larrea, Dr. Eva Cernuda Morollón.

Postdoctoral researcher and teaching collaborator at the University of Oviedo since 2019. Member of the research group NanoBioMem. Degree in Biology, University of Oviedo (2008), with Extraordinary Undergraduate Award. Master's Degree in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics (2018), Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. International PhD in Biology, University of Oviedo (2013), with Extraordinary Doctorate Award. Main areas of interest: extracellular vesicles and their role in cell communication in the central nervous system, their potential interest as biomarkers in neurodegenerative diseases and cancer; development of analytical platforms for biomarker analysis.
