Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of Oviedo in 2018 and specialized through the Master's Degree in Biotechnology Applied to the Conservation and Sustainable Management of Plant Resources from the University of Oviedo in 2019. She is currently a pre-doctoral researcher FPU (Formación del Profesorado Universitario) at the EPIOMIDES research group from the area of Plant Physiology of the Department of Organisms and Systems Biology of the University of Oviedo. Her research focuses on the study of the effects of climate change on different plant species from an evolutionary and Systems Biology perspective. To do this, she simulates environmental situations of high temperatures and drought in plants that allow comparing the response to this stress. This will provide new knowledge and biotechnologically relevant candidates to a better understanding of the climate change effects and how to deal with them.
