Aitor Vázquez (S’10, M'15) was born in Oviedo, Spain, in 1984. He received the M.Sc. degree in telecommunication engineering from the University of Oviedo, Gijón, Spain, in 2009, the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineerign in 2016 in the same university. He became a member of the Power Supply System Group, University of Oviedo, in 2010. Since 2023 he is Associate Professor in this University. His research interests include modularization techniques applied to bidirectional dc–dc converters for HEV, battery management power supplies, dc nano-grids, power-factor corrector ac–dc converters, and energy recovery systems.
