Abstract
The bankruptcy procedure is the mecanism that allows the Spanish legal system, in tune with the European Law, to confront insolvency situations. The consolidated wording of the Spanish Bankruptcy Law is an excepcionally wide and quite complex rule. From the awareness of the reality of the bankrupcty procedure, it is necessary to take into consideration how it can affect family, conyugal relationships, and family-origined legal realities such as inheritance.
