Zusammenfassung

The application of Regulation 606/2013 on the recognition of protection measures in civil matters raises problems of qualification of the measure and of delimitation between PIPr instruments. These problems can now be looked at again in the light of Directive (EU) 2024/1385 on combating violence against women and domestic violence, to determine whether and to what extent it may have any effect on the cross‐border recognition of civil protection measures for victims of gender‐based violence and, ultimately, on their protection in this area.
