Resumen

This study examined the after effects of the Delfos Program on fair-play attitudes and opinions in sport and its transference to self - control levels in contexts other than sport. The sample was formed by students from two public schools (N=119), with an average age of 13.6 years (N= 59 experi-mental group y N= 60 control group). The Intervention Program was applied to the experimental group in twenty one-hour-long sessions of initiation to indoor soccer. At the same time the control group took sessions of physical education trough initiation to indoor soccer. The results showed, in the experimental group, significant progress in personal feedback, reward delay, self - control criterion, and opinions related to diversion. A decrease in variables related to hard play was observed, together with an imperious search for victory. After the implementation, correlations were observed between measurements of fair play and of self - control. The structural equation pattern showed that fair play in sport significantly predicts self - control in other contexts of daily life. No significant changes were found in the control group
