Resumo

The advanced technological society entails a profound change in the labor market, the dynamics of the relationship between the population and work organizations, and all of this conditions the current psychological landscape. This article reflects on two interactive elements: firstly, the contributions, implications, and impacts that Work psychosociology, as a field of psychosociology, has had and continues to have on the described labor and social dynamics. Secondly, it situates universal basic income as a subject of study in social psychology, assuming that this policy has the potential to radically transform the person-world relationship, thereby questioning the current labor system. In this context, universal basic income emerges as a fundamental subject of study in psychosociology, providing new prisms of analysis within the discipline.
