Résumé
This brief text is a personal and academic profile of Professor Joaquín Varela Suanzes-Carpegna, Full Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Oviedo, who died on February 1, 2018. The aim of these pages is to highlight both his human qualities and his extraordinary contributions to the Constitutional History.
