Resumo
Popular culture, in its various manifestations, is a constant in Alan Moore's work. The anti-comics campaign that persecuted comics is also reflected in his works, mostly hidden and from a satirical point of view. In his comic books there are references to some of the issues questioned by the anti-comic campaign, but also to the protagonists and to the crusade itself, which between 1940 and 1960 subjected the medium to deep control.
