Abstract

The present work provides new data about the bat assemblage occurring in the Nature Reserve Bay of Cádiz (Cádiz, Spain). These data corroborate the presence of Pipistrellus pygmaeus and verify the presence of Tadarida tenioƟs. The bat community of this legally protected area is thereby composed by at least six species belonging to five genera, including Pipistrellus(P. pygmaeus and P. pipistrellus), Eptesicus (E. isabellinus), Miniopterus (M. schreibersii), Nyctalus (N. lasiopterus) and Tadarida (T. tenioƟs)
