Abstract

The aim of this study is the description, from the rigorous scientific evidence, of the cognitive processes and brain areas that are involved in any reading process: 1) description of the decoding routes; 2) discussion on the directionality of these; and 3) neuroimaging studies that contribute to scientific knowledge on the subject.
