Abstract
The European Researchers’ Night is an international science education and dissemination event. Itstransversal and playful nature lets citizens learning about scientific advances and acquiring skills totake responsibility for social change. The aim of this paper is to present a transdisciplinary activity car-ried out within the framework of this programme during the 2022 edition held at the University of Ovie-do: “What a fake!!! Find the lies from Romance languages to your personal finances”. To this end, itsdesign, implementation, and main results are described. This learning scenario, based on gamification,focuses on the current importance of combating misinformation, from the areas of Romance Philologyand Financial Economics, traditionally invisible in this type of events. The results show the satisfactionof the participants and invite to continue implementing new actions that promote a multilevel and qualityFinancial and Sociolinguistic Education.
