Resumo

Transdisciplinarity has been defined as an episteme in tune with the concerns of this century. It is aperspective that offers the possibility of connecting the apparently antagonistic in order to generatereciprocal enrichments that facilitate the understanding of complex phenomena, providing the analysiswith rigour, openness and tolerance towards other points of view (Cabrera, 2019; Socorro, 2018). Thispaper presents the recent creation of a transdisciplinary working team, which involves professionalsfrom the areas of Financial Economics and Romance Philology at the University of Oviedo in the designof multilevel actions of education and scientific dissemination, in order to provide citizens with Learningfor Life (Jiménez, 2021). To achieve this objective, a progressive involvement in university contexts ofeducational innovation and knowledge transfer has been programmed, which favour contact with het-erogeneous groups and playful learning, based on rich socialisation with the help of gamification. Ex-amples of this synergy are the planning of coordinated activities within the framework of the Research-ers’ Night and On Tour with Science programmes, both of which are regular events in the academiccalendar of the University of Oviedo. Through this teaching collaboration it is hoped to offer the public anew approach that will enable them to understand the usefulness of the areas of Financial Economicsand Romance Philology in the current social context (Becker et al., 2022; Molina et al., 2021), on anequal footing with other fields that have traditionally enjoyed greater academic prestige and, conse-quently, tend to have a greater social promotion and projection. At the same time, this initiative aimsto contribute to the creation of new working models that favour academic dialogue, overcoming thetraditional fragmentary perspective that tends to segment disciplines.
