Resumen

In this paper we propose the use of fuzzy set modelling to treat the kind of uncertainty in normative economic analyses of inequality, welfare and poverty arising from imprecision and vagueness of involved magnitudes (incomes) and preferences (normative measures). Fuzzy sets are used in this paper as a tool for a “multivalued” sensitivity analysis on the parametric hypotheses concerning normative judgements.
