Abstract
This paper describes the design of a reflectarray antenna to be mounted on a small satellite that is part of a mega-constellation. The antenna generates an isoflux pattern that illuminates a radius of 400 km above the Earth’s surface at 1200 km of altitude. Applying two optimizations processes, based on the generalized intersection approach, a constant flux power radiation pattern is obtained between 16 and 18 GHz with an average gain of 12.35 dBi
