Resumen

The main goal of this study consists on estimating changes in volumes of sediment stored in fluvial bars along the lower 10 km of Narcea river, through the surficial changes in channel features mapped from aerial photographs for 5 different dates. A correction in the surficial values has been applied, in order to discard the effect of the flow, and also it has been made an assump-tion in the depth of mobile bed. A waste in mobile bed material of 265 000 m3 has been estimated for the time period between 1957 and 2007.
