Resumen
The Organic Law of Modification of the LOE (LOMLOE) introduces possibilities for improvement in tools such as reading plans that with different names were present in secondary education. In this context and in the need to advance in the processes of multiple literacy, we take the Press School program developed by the Ministry of Education and Science together with the Association of Spanish Newspaper Publishers (AEDE) as a reference between 1985 and 1990, until the irruption of the LOGSE and that has survived in various ways over the last decades to serve as the basis for the redesign of the Reading, Writing and Research Plans (PLEI) within the framework of the new educational law. A revamped and updated model, adapted to digitization and the information society, is the core of the conclusions of our proposal to adopt reading plans that generate interactions between educational centers and society with an innovative vision that really takes advantage of the possibilities of mediated communication to meet the needs of promoting reading in different areas of knowledge as required by the LOMLOE
