Zusammenfassung

We analyze, first of all, the unbelievable situation of the course on Numerical Methods in the EPI at Gijón compared to the Spanish academic curriculum. After assessing the inconveniences caused by that situation, we propose a methodology which attempts to palliate them and improve its integration in the degree. By means of group projects, the student will be able to assess the true outreach of the contents of the course.
