Resum

The Instituto Asturiano de Odontología, as a spin off from the University of Oviedo, where the Postgraduate Training in Orthodontics is exclusively taught, defined three lines of action in 2016, one of them being training. To achieve an improvement in the quality of the teaching of Postgraduate Training, an in-depth study was carried out, which obtained a fundamental and distinctive result in August 2017, the EFQM 400+ seal of excellence. Two priority areas for improvement were also detected in this study: improving the satisfaction of patients and students, for which a series of measures were implemented both in the clinic and in the teaching, with these measures obtaining results in February of 2018 that improved patient satisfaction by 15% and student satisfaction by 25% compared to the previous year.
