Resumen
This investigation tried to analyze and interpret, the perception that the students have of the transversal competences acquired along their studies in the plant production area of Oviedo University. A questionnaire was prepared with two parts. In the first part general information was asked on the training of the student surveyed. In the second part, questions were asked about the transversal competences that the students perceive that they have reached, through the items formulated from the 1 to 19. The data analyzed by the Kruskal-Wallis test compared the distribution among three groups of students according to the number of pending subjects to finish the degree studies showed that there were no significant differences between any of the groups for the questions asked. The profile of transversal competences of the students with formation in plant production at the University of Oviedo was characterized by a tendency towards a style more directed to systemic competences, as they advance in their training.
