Abstract

Electromagnetic Compatibility is a key aspect in the design of electronic systems, however, the teaching dedication assigned to a large part of the electronic profile technical qualifications is minimal or non-existent. The knowledge of fundamental aspects related to the interactions between systems due to the presence of electromagnetic fields, as well as a description of the existing regulations that must be observed, will improve the profile of our graduates to face the future designs that the technological environment will demand.The teaching orientation towards the practical aspects of this discipline will facilitate the understanding of the existing phenomena both in the field of emission and electromagnetic immunity. That is why our proposal is oriented towards the physical visualization of different electromagnetic coupling modes.The knowledge of the effects derived from the emission and reception of electromagnetic fields and the methods followed for their measurement, will provide students with the knowledge to apply the prevention techniques during design, improving their technological capacities.
