First part of a general essay on the idea of Socialism in the Philosophical Materialism of Gustavo Bueno, taking into consideration particularly the work Ensayos Materialistas (1972), his contribution to the Congreso de Filósofos Jóvenes, dedicated to the topic “Theory and Praxis” that took place in March 1975, and his essay published in El Basilisco, “Ética desde la Izquierda”, 1994.
