Abstract

The use of zinc salts or complexes in catalytic transformations involves some advantages as their availability, low price, low toxicity and environmental gentleness. These factors have motivated the development of several application of zinc in the field of organic chemistry. This article briefly shows relevant organic reactions, which are based on the use of zinc catalysts.
