Résumé

Women, until they could work in public institutions, had to fight for the appreciation of their rights, as they are half the population. In the case of university teachers, gender inequality is a characteristic factor in Italy, so it is necessary to analyse the base of this inequality in order to obtain gender equality, so it can represent the half population that seems to be marginalized.
