Abstract
This work is based on the interviews with former workers of the Gijon textile factories Obrerol-Monza, Confecciones Gijón and Sincos. Through oral sources will make visible women within Asturias labor movement from the 60's to the present and we will outline an analysis of the reason for the underestimation of its labor disputes. Testimonies reflect the conditions of women's work, both its irruption in the public space through strikes, demonstrations and occupation of factories. The use of these sources gives us new approaches for theoretical reflection on the interaction of the dimension of gender/class, individual consciousness and collective action. As well as the analysis of the role of women within the framework of the relations of production/reproduction that we relate to devaluation of women's work. Therefore we seek to contribute to the frameworks of collective identification and critical analysis of gender within the labor movement relations.
