Study of the social composition of local oligarchies who hold municipal government posts in the Asturian coastal towns between 1750 and 1810, through the analysis of their social profile, their strategies of social ascent and economic patrimony. All this allows a characterization of the ruling group in these villages during the final decades of the Old Regime.
