Zusammenfassung
This article examines the media coverage that revolved around the murder of the actress Conchita Robles by her ex-husband in 1922. The newspapers of the time narrated the mistreatment that the victim had suffered for years, but also the efforts of the artist to escape this situation and the obstacles that she had to face. Moreover, in the context of the trials we can also see how the murder was justified and how the artist�s moral and sexual behaviour was questioned as an explanation for the crime.
