Resum
This research is framed within the social and housing conflict that has been developing in recent years inthe mining village of La Camocha (Gijón, Asturias). Through in-depth interviews it has been possible toknow the protagonists of this eviction process without a housing alternative, as well as their noteworthylife experiences. Specifically, using the life stories of six of the affected women, it has been possibleto discover true biographies of sacrifice, suffering and exposure to the spiral of violence (in all its expressions). Likewise, lives of struggle and resistance that have been silenced within the margins of asmall community that today stands up to defend itself have been revealed. It is through this mobilizationthat some of them will initiate processes of individual empowerment and forge new bonds of solidarity.
