Resum

The near surface analysis by a single geophysical method implies a partial characterization related to the sensitivity of the physical property evaluated to certain characteristics of the medium. To obtain a geological-geotechnical model as accurate as possible is necessary to solve the information deficit associated to one-only method in itself, for which we propose the joint evaluation of several geophysical parameters. This work presents the analysis of a flood plain by seismic refraction, multichannel analysis of surface waves (MASW) and electrical resistivity tomography. In a first step, we separately interpret the resulting models from each of the methods (P-wave seismic velocity, S-wave seismic velocity and electrical resistivity), identifying which are the subsoil features that govern the different geophysical parameters by the comparison with borehole and soil pit data. Later, the information of the three models are integrated to generate a geological-geotechnical model, that thanks to the proposed methodology provides more comprehensive, complete and reliable physical and geotechnical features of the targeted subsoil.
