Abstract

The.aim of this research is analysing the validity of content of the Individual Intervention Program scale (IIP) included in the SERAR (Assessment and Planning System far Child and Youth Residencial Care) (Fernández del Valie, 1998). The analysis of content has been done by Judges' evaluation. The judges received a questionnaire with the structure of the scale (which included the description of each item and the domains presumably measured), and they had to decide the relevance of each item to measure the theorical construct, its usefulness for intervention and its feasibility (the viability of getting the information required). They were also asked to valorise the representativeness of the scale, in order to knciw if other items or evaluation areas should be included. Results analysis is based on 69 questionnaires received from judges (researchers, care workers and staff from Social Services) of seven regions of Spain.
