Résumé

The focus of this research is to assess the differences that older people (Baby Boomers) display in terms of values, beliefs, knowledge and learning styles with digital competence compared to younger generations (Millennials), mainly in Higher Education where the inclusion of people over 55 is a fact. The participants in the study were comprised of 95 older people without significant gender differences participating in a university program aimed at the elderly. And 90 third-year university students in undergraduate degree programs linked to the field of social-judicial sciences. Older people stand out for their motivation, commitment, perseverance and participation. They use technologies as a way of making things easier. Younger students prefer practice to theory, group to individual tasks and technologies are an end. University teachers are aware that there are generational differences between students, knowing their values, skills, motivations and concerns will help us design appropriate pedagogical strategies.
