Zusammenfassung

Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have proven to be interesting materials because of their potential applications in many important fields, such as catalysis, biomedicine or gas storage and separation. This is due to their structural and chemical features which result from the combination of organic ligands (as porphyrins) and metal ions or clusters giving rise to open structures with potentially high pore volumes and surface areas. Thus, in the research work gathered in this report, five new porphyrin-related MOFs have been synthesized, characterized by means of different techniques and, occasionally, applied them in fields as catalysis and adsorption, with beautiful purposes: to face the environmental challenges and to expand the knowledge in the field of advanced materials as a paradigm of the evolution of our species. // Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have proven to be interesting materials because of their potential applications in many important fields, such as catalysis, biomedicine or gas storage and separation.
