Abstract
An epidemiological survey was carried out in 1992 to know the periodontal health in the schoolchildren population 6,9, 12 years old in Asturian community. A representative sample of 1839 subjets was examined. According to the CPITN, reversible gingivitis (bleeding after probing) was the most frequent finding in each group. This periodontal condition with two mean sextants affected eas present in 64% of 12 years old.
