Abstract

Fig, vine and olive tree wild populations have been analyzed and a literature review has been performed in order to ascertain their origin. Field work has confirmed both the existence of fig and vine dioecius individuals and agronomic or ecologic wild characteristics of olive trees. Similarly, the review of the literature has indicated the historical dating of vine and olive tree pollen. Described data have allowed these three plants to be considered as natives to the Cantabrian area.
