Résumé

This paper discloses a previously unknown set of petroglyphs made up of carved grooves in abstract motifs which are located next to the La Carisa Route. This pathway has been used to cross the Cantabrian Mountains since prehistoric times. We have presented this description of the motifs and its geological characterization in order to evaluate its possible natural/anthropogenic origin. Finally, we have discussed its cronocultural interpretation through a comparative and formal study of the motifs and the territorial analysis of the context.
