Abstract

The current article presents the evaluation carried out in the Jurassic Museum of Asturias (MUJA) during the 2005/2007 period, and a second evaluation performed in 2014. The first evaluation was aimed to enhance the efficiency to manage public attendance, which was seem as unorganized at the very early stages of the musem start-up. The second investigation corresponds to the synthesis of the evaluation under the R+D project to assess educative programs in fifteen Spanish museums under the paradigm of qualitative research. The first evaluation can be understood as an initial diagnosis, while work carried out in 2014 is trying to interpret improvements for the didactic proposal, adding new evaluative perspectives focused on school visits.
