Zusammenfassung

Complications after extracapsular cataract extraction with posterior chamber lens implantation in patients with exfoliation syndrome are studied. We compare two groups of patients: A, with exfoliation syndrome, and B, without this syndrome. A significantly higher incidence of fibrin membrane formation in the postoperative period of the group A patients is found.
