Abstract
We have carried out a prospective study in fifty patient with retinal detachment, treated with pneumatic Retinopexy, between January 1987 and February 1989. Differents factors like age, sex, ocular antecedents, retinal detachament evolution time, number, size and location of the breaks, retinal detachment extension, macular detachment and complications are analysed to know their influence on the results and prognostic of these patients. The statistics analysis of the dates show no significative influence of the age, sex, ocular antecedents, retinal detachment extension, number of breaks and macular detachment, and a significative influence of the retinal detachment evolution time, size and location of the breaks and complications.
