Résumé

The spanish demografia has specific characteristics of the Mediterranean. Increased life expectancy, declining birth indicators clearly contribute to an aging demographic context. The aging of the population determines the characteristics economic situation. Needs and productive capacities of the different cohorts are different. Ageing can affect the level of aggregate savings. Several empirical studies have found a high correlation between age distribution and stock prices. The study analyzes the relationship between the two factors in Spain. The process of analysis follows traditional patterns in time series studies. A vector autoregressionis specified.
