Abstract
As a didactic resource, the cartoon is part of an active and motivating methodology context. However, until recently, the ninth art has been rejected by the Spanish teachers and has not attracted the interest of the academic researchers. Within meaningful learning, the didactic use of comic improves the narrative and the reading/writing skills, also contributing to the visual literacy of the individual. Because of its This analysis, emerged of various investigations, aims to show the interest and the versatility of this contemporary artistic creation because, over time, comic conquers new formats, including album and magazine, with more ambitious cartoons than those ones from daily newspapers.
