Abstract

The study assumes that without a theoretical foundation any penitentiary treatment is far from being able to understand the purpose on the one that develops and, also, the results are able answer. Recognizing that the penitentiary treatment is far from offering a few good practices to follow to achieve the social reintegration of the convict, a recognized experience, internationally as good practices, to level therapeutic and educational in the prison is the project of the UTE of Villabona (Asturias, Spain). This need of foundation has gone to developing on a support of notion of conduct the offer of change as a process, far from introducing it in the area of intimidation and incorporating two processes in their understanding (co-responsibility and co-management) and a mechanism for adaptation (confrontation). The work concludes that it is possible another prison, where the penitentiary treatment does not look for a competent and community adjustment to the penitentiary context that gives step to the prison subculture. It is assumed, finally, the need of that this realized approach make concrete so much in a Legal Regulations as in a development of this one across a regulation.
