Zusammenfassung

Different sensory receptors found in the perimysium of lingual muscles of man, rabbit and cat are described. A special reference to muscle spindles is make. They are more numerous in human tongues than in those of the studied animal, and they are also different, with regard to those of the striated skeletal muscles.
