Résumé
The Bisphosphonates are drugs with a strong inhibitor effect of the bone reabsorption, reason why they have been widely used in the treatment of bone metabolic diseases. During the last years these drugs have been related to the appearance spontaneous or secondary maxillary osteonecrosis in dental treatments. The main purpose of this review is to supply the information available up to now about this complication, so the physician may prevent it and treat it.
